Applying small object detection for bombing UAV in battle field environment

Drones have been one of the primary weapons in warfare. Early detection of an approaching drone has become an important issue. This study proposed a system design and software architecture of a light device to detect bombing drones. It analyzes the image stream from the sky and can alarm the soldiers for incoming drones. In the future, trajectory tracking will be added to recognize flying objects as drones or natural objects.
