Smart Seed Sower: Design and Implementation of an IoT-based Solar-Powered Automatic Seed Dispenser

This paper introduces a novel solution for advancing agricultural practices through the fusion of renewable energy and Internet of Things (IoT) technologies. At the heart of this system lies a solar-powered seed dispenser, leveraging solar panels to capture and utilize solar energy. This design not only ensures sustainability but also mitigates environmental impact. By harnessing solar power, the device operates autonomously, diminishing reliance on traditional power sources and thereby reducing operational expenses for farmers. Moreover, the system integrates IoT-enabled soil monitoring sensors to gather and analyze crucial data concerning soil health. These sensors measure parameters including humidity levels, pH, temperature, and nutrient content, furnishing farmers with real-time insights into conditions that significantly influence seed germination and plant growth.
