Design ofa Ku-Band Up-Down Converter Module

Frequency converter play a key role in wireless communications systems, which give conversion between the radio frequency(RF) band and the intermediate frequency(IF) band. This paper mainly describes the design of a up-down converter module for Ku-band. Through the design and analysis of the circuit, the corresponding analytical method, calculation results and measured results for actual object are given. The measured results show that the up converter spurious is less than $-75\text{dB},\text{the}$ noise figure is less than 4.0dB and the down converter gain is $25.5+0.5\text{dB}$.
