Metasurface-Enabled Dual-Polarized Microwave Illusion

In this work, a dual-polarized illusion metasurface is proposed. The meta-atom consists of a double-layer orthogonal rectangular patch structure, which expands the coverage of the reflection phase range. Design a metasurface based on the phase generated by the height information of real objects, generating two independent scattering fields of different objects under two polarizations. And it has good similarity with the scattering field of objects. This work provides a new strategy for the design and implementation of multiple illusions integrated on a single passive metasurface, and will promote the practical application of metasurfaces.
