Effectiveness of Board Game Raising Stroke Awareness Among Young Children

Pre-hospital delays in stroke treatment in Thailand persist are due to a lack of public awareness regarding stroke symptoms and appropriate emergency responses. This study aims to develop and assess the effectiveness of an age-appropriate stroke board game to raise stroke awareness among young children in Thailand. The participants were comprised of 36 elementary school students from Naluang School, selected using a purposeful sampling technique. Data analysis involved a paired simple t-test. The results demonstrated that the board game effectively enhances stroke awareness among kids in grades 4-6 by engaging them in interactive play and an educational experience. The implication of this study suggests that the stroke board game approach could be employed in school settings to teach children about health-related topics.
