Research and Practice on Course Evaluation Mode for “Programmable Controllers Applications and Practice”

To enhance the guidance of course evaluation in curriculum improvement and elevate the level of talent development, this paper conducts research and practice on the course evaluation mode of “Programmable Controllers Applications and Practices”. Firstly, the current status of course evaluation is analyzed to identify existing problems. Subsequently, based on the teaching objectives of the course, the evaluation mode is restructured, comprising customized assignments, review reports, experimental investigations, and written exams. Finally, through the practical implementation of the course, the results indicate that the designed course evaluation mode can comprehensively and insightfully analyze students’ learning status, identify strengths and weaknesses in specific professional knowledge and skills, and provide specific directions for teachers’ course improvement. This lays a crucial foundation for enhancing the student-centered teaching quality of the course.
