Optimizing Control of Steam Heating for Fine Hollow Filter Rod based on SCSO-PID

To solve the problems of poor quality and low efficiency in the migration of the steam-forming filter rod making machine and the production of hollow filter rods for Slim Yunlong, intelligent optimization improvement was made to several parts of it. In order to solve the above problems, several parts of the production process are optimized in this paper. By improving the cooling and forming system and adjusting the PID parameters to stabilize the secondary heating temperature, the temperature and moisture control requirements of the slim hollow filter rods were met, and the efficiency of the slim filter hollow rod forming machine was improved. The results of the test conducted on the “slim filter hollow rod (Slim Yunlong) “ showed that the improved filter rod making machine has an operating efficiency of $90.16 \%$ at a production speed of $400 \mathrm{~m} / \mathrm{min}$, an output of 901,800 sticks/shift, a rejection rate of $0.17 \%$, and a cumulative downtime of 9.6 minutes/shift. The cumulative downtime was 9 minutes/shift, and the slim filter hollow rods met the requirements of quality inspection. This technology can be applied to improve the productivity of slim filter hollow rod forming equipment.
