Distributed Cooperative Guidance for Simultaneous Arrival without Numerical Singularities

In this paper, a distributed nonsingular cooperative guidance law is proposed for a multi-missile system aimed at enabling a salvo attack on a stationary target. In the first stage, a distributed cooperative guidance law utilizing neighboring information is developed to synchronize the range-to-go and leading angle, using consensus theory. Subsequently, the process advances to a stage where multiple missiles, operating independently, converge on the target via Proportional Navigation Guidance (PNG). Furthermore, the multi-missile system’s stability is substantiated by utilizing the Lyapunov theory. Finally, simulation results are presented to demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed cooperative guidance approach.
