An extended Preisach model for hysteresis processes

A new model for describing hysteresis is proposed. The magnetization is separated into reversible and irreversible parts. The irreversible part is described by a new extended Preisach diagram and the reversible part by a Langevin function. Satisfactory agreement with experiment has been obtained.
