Design and Analysis of Interleaved Boost PFC Converter for Renewable Energy System

The use of rectifiers in our daily lives is growing these days. The issue with electronic passive elements nowadays, whether in large or small industries, is that they are used extensively in daily life and, when used extensively, cause distortion in our input voltage and current profiles, which in turn causes distortion in power factor, which lowers power quality and results in significant losses in our electrical circuit. The input current contains more harmonics, the control system has poor steady-state performance, and dynamic performance is weak. The rising ubiquity of high-power single-phase AC power supply equipment means that the grid-connected functioning of numerous inverters has a detrimental impact on the system's power and stability. The fundamental purpose of PFC converters is to enhance power quality by bringing the input current waveform into phase with the input voltage, lowering harmonic distortion and increasing overall efficiency.
