Enhancing VoIP Mobility: Dynamic Call Transfer Across 5G, 4G, and Wi-Fi Networks Using Asterisk PBX

The continuous evolution of mobile networks disrupts the smooth operation of Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP). This paper proposes a solution to bridge these network gaps, leveraging Asterisk, a powerful open-source PBX software. Our framework empowers seamless VoIP calls across diverse network infrastructures like Wi-Fi, LTE, and 5G. By centralizing client registration and call routing with a central Asterisk PBX server, we address the challenges of network heterogeneity. Analysis demonstrates the effectiveness of Asterisk PBX in facilitating seamless VoIP integration, promoting cost-effective and flexible communication solutions.
