Metrology Framework for Electric Vehicle Charging Stations in Canada

As Canada seeks to achieve net-zero greenhouse gas emissions by 2050, the replacement of fossil fueled vehicles with electric vehicles requires further developments in the related metrology infrastructure. In particular, standardized methods do not presently exist for measuring the high DC power levels produced by DC fast charging stations. This paper discusses ongoing work to provide calibrations and traceability for these measurements.
