Performance Evaluation Of Tio2 And Al2O3 Nanomixture With Environmentally Refrigerant In Refrigeration

In a household refrigerator system, R600a performance was evaluated with TiO2 and Al2O3, nanomixture. K-type thermocouples and pressure gauges were used to monitor variables such as temperature and pressure. A wattmeter was used to keep track of the power consumption of the refrigerator. Using NIST refprop version 9.0, the refrigerant’s enthalpies were calculated with refrop 9. 0. R600a with TiO2 and Al2O3, nanomixture shows lower temperature at the evaporator and shorter pull down times compared to pure R600a, according to the findings. The cooling capacity of R600a with TiO2 and Al2O3, nanomixture was enhanced by 17.8% and 8% respectively. The power consumption was lowered by 11.3%, and 4.5% respectively. Therefore, R600a/nanomixture is a potential replacement for pure lubricant with R600a a refrigerator system.
