Study on X-ray detection technology of voltage connector of transmission line with unmanned tower boarding

After the crimping of the overhead transmission line, it is difficult to detect internal defects in the pressure nozzle. Once erected and put into operation, it bears significant tension. Traditional manual detection methods are inefficient and pose high risks. This paper proposes an X-ray detection technology based on UAV hoisting, utilizing a synchronous belt to rotate the X-ray transmitter and receiving plate with a 2:3 transmission ratio along their respective axes. This expands the detection range while reducing the volume of the device, increasing pressure nozzle detection efficiency by over 50%.
