Research on the End Screen Downdraft Device of Capacitive Equipment Based on Finite Element Method

For capacitor equipment, such as wall bushings, CVTs, main transformer bushings, etc., there is still a lack of effective live test methods. At present, there are no on-site testing projects for this type of capacitor equipment, which results in the condition evaluation of this type of capacitor equipment relying on power outage plans and unable to grasp the health status of the equipment in real time. This issue has become a bottleneck that restricts the progress of maintenance of the entire power grid. Analyze the feasibility of terminal screen down conductors for this type of device. A finite element model of the end screen extraction joint was established using Solidworks, and its static structural strength was calculated using the finite element method. This article proposes and designs a terminal screen down lead device to achieve live testing of this type of capacitor equipment. The experimental results indicate that the device has strong reliability and practicality.
