Electromagnetic field analysis of eddy current effects in rotating electrical apparatus and machinery

A closed-form solution for evaluating the magnetic field distribution in a two-dimensional rotating structure is presented. The analysis is described in Cartesian and cylindrical coordinate systems, and the relative merits of each are examined.
