Automatic Speed Control in Vehicle Based on Geolocation Information

The development and implementation of an innovative Automatic Speed Control System (ASCS) for vehicles, leveraging real-time geolocation information. The proposed system integrates advanced Global Positioning System (GPS) technology and intelligent control algorithms to dynamically adjust vehicle speed in response to varying geospatial parameters. By analyzing the current position, road conditions, and local speed limits, the ASCS optimizes vehicle speed for enhanced safety, fuel efficiency, and compliance with regulatory requirements. Subsequently, it calculates the current speed of the vehicle and establishes a locking speed, which is controlled by a servo motor. This locking speed is then used to regulate and control the vehicle’s speed, ensuring adherence to the predefined limits in different geographic locations. The study includes the design and testing of the system, demonstrating its effectiveness in controlled experiments. Results indicate significant improvements in adaptive speed management, showcasing the potential of the proposed solution to contribute to road safety and sustainability in modern transportation systems.
