ARIMA-LSTM Model-Based Siting Study of Photovoltaic Power Generation Technology

Electricity and energy are the foundation of China's economic and social development, and as China's demand for electricity continues to grow, it needs to change its electricity mix to increase the proportion of electricity generated from renewable sources. Photovoltaic (PV) power generation is an important renewable energy source, and China is still deficient in PV power generation. In this paper, we first collected data on China's electricity supply and five impact indicators from 2000 to 2023, and used Spearman correlation analysis to correlate the indicators; then we used the ARIMA-LSTM combination model to forecast the electricity supply, which lays a good foundation for the assessment of the siting of PV power generation. In order to determine the specific site selection, seven geographic units and provinces in China are specifically analyzed, and then the evaluation indicators are selected, and the optimal geographic units, optimal provinces and optimal regions for constructing PV power plants are derived by using the EWM-TOPSIS combinatorial model to demonstrate the feasibility of constructing PV power plants from different perspectives.
