Blind Estimation Method of WCDMA Signal Spreading Code

Based on an in-depth study of the OVSF (Orthogonal Variable Spread Factor) code utilized in the WCDMA (Wideband Code Division Multiple Access) communication system, which includes the recursive code construction principle, code tree structure, and mathematical theory, a blind estimation method for OVSF is introduced. This method is based on OVSF code tree search and utilizes symbols near-zero rates after despreading to distinguish the ambiguity of despreading. The simulation results demonstrate that the algorithm is effective for OVSF code estimation in WCDMA communication systems under low signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) and adapts to the condition of multiple users in WCDMA downlink, which has high engineering application value.
