Research on Development of Multi-Standard Material Management Platform Based on Java

With the expansion of the scale and complexity of EPC projects in thermal power plants, the traditional material management method based on tables and material descriptions as identification basis has been difficult to meet the needs of efficient management, and a material management platform based on material coding has emerged. This article describes the method of building a material management platform using Java language in the Windows operating system, which is roughly divided into five parts: material entry, material coding, material association, SPEC establishment, and engineering project application. This paper analyzes three problems existing in the material coding platform, including difficult positioning of multiple codes for material specifications, cumbersome material association operations, and no version records for engineering applications. The corresponding solutions are proposed, and finally, the development plan and logic flow of the multi-rule-based material management platform are clarified.
