Abstract:

This paper presents PM4WallArt, a novel scriptable parametric modeling interface tailored for conceptual wall art design. Leveraging the capabilities of PM4VR, a versatile para-metric modeling tool in Virtual Reality (VR), PM4WallArt offers artists and designers a flexible and intuitive platform to explore and create complex parametric wall art designs. The interface integrates advanced parametric modeling features with a user-friendly VR environment, enabling users to visually manipulate and script geometric shapes and spatial features for impressive wall art design. This paper discusses the design principles, key features, and experiments of applying PM4WallArt for creative wall art design, highlighting its potential to revolutionize the process of wall art creation and customization.
