Erasable Tag Authentication Scheme Based on Dynamic Hash Privacy on Blockchain and Internet of Things

An erasable tag authentication scheme was developed based on dynamic hash value privacy, blockchain, and IoT. The scheme allowed for the efficient and secure authentication of IoT device tags by combining the elliptic curve cryptography algorithm. A dynamic hash generation algorithm was also used for the hash value to be updated in real time when the tag information changes. Then, the tag was protected from forgery and tampering; in addition, the decentralized nature of blockchain ensured a transparent and tamper-proof tag authentication process. The feasibility and performance of the scheme were validated in experiments. The scheme is a new process and methodology for the IoT security authentication.
