Study on Signal Coverage Conditions in Complex Terrains Using ITU-R P.1546-5

The paper aiming at the application of Multi-rotor drone in hilly terrain detection field, this paper designs a frequency hopping waveform and obtains the signal-to-noise ratio error (SNR) block rate curve at different transmission speeds of the waveform. At the same time, because one of the problems that often need to be faced in the hilly terrain field is interference, this thesis simulates the interference conditions at different rates, and obtains the signal-to-noise ratio block error rate curves under different interference levels of different transmission rate. Finally, this paper models ITU-R P.1546-5 and geolocation information to simulate the communication range of Multi-rotor drone at different rates under typical hilly terrains, and the coverage of MULTI-ROTOR DRONE signals by different interference conditions of different signal rate. The simulation results have a strong guiding significance for the real situation, and can intuitively observe the influence of different regional conditions and different interference levels on the signal transmission of the drone.
