Enhancing Wellness and Location Monitoring for Mountain Climbers

Reducing the dangers associated with high-altitude activities requires improving mountain climbers' safety and tracking skills. In this work, an inventive Internet of Things (IoT)-based system is presented to overcome the difficulties of accurate position tracking and real-time health monitoring in hilly terrain. An Arduino microcontroller is integrated with temperature and pulse sensors to enable the gadget to continually monitor climbers' vital signs and communicate data over IoT networks. Metrics including reaction speed, accuracy of position tracking, and dependability of health monitoring are used to assess system performance. By providing climbers with up-to-date information on their health and location, the proposed system seeks to improve response times and increase climbers' safety in challenging and remote locations.
