An Autonomous Agri-Bot for Ploughing, Seeding and Watering

In Indian economy, Agriculture is considered to be one of the most important sectors. It gives about 16% of total gross domestic product and 10%of the total exports. In spite of such significate contributions, it continued to be the least technologically and productively underdeveloped sector of India. For productive farming, new automation technologies need to be introduced into agriculture. In this, we develop a Agri-bot prototype which helps the user in ploughing, seeding and watering. It is an autonomous bot which is triggered only when placed on the field having certain (say threshold of 50) moisture content of soil and it is programmed to stop at certain interval to do the operations like ploughing, seeding and watering. If any obstacle is detected on its way, then it avoids and takes a turn. Further this prototype can be advanced by integrating GSM module such that it provides the current data of the Agri-bot to the remote user.
