IoT Based Exam Hall Surveillance Robot

The prevalence of impersonation in exam rooms is rising daily. This is due to care-less and candidate checking by an in -person system in exam halls. The goal of this project is to use facial recognition to lessen impersonation in exam rooms. This paper consists of a camera connected to Raspberry pi , which has a Students database already stored. The project is designed to pass only users by verifying their facial patterns, and block non verified users. The Facial Recognition module was designed to scan the face of the candidate which was stored in the database. Automated iris recognition is provided for the verification and identification of people as iris is highly unique to an individual. Once the taken picture matches the picture in the database it allows the candidate inside the exam hall.This project will also provide exam instructions and will patrol the exam hall.While patrolling the exam hall the robot will record, the footage then will be retrieved and will be checked for any malpractice.
