Comparative Study between IncCond and FLC and SMC Algorithms for MPPT Control for Grid Connected PV System

The intensity of sun's light, the temperature of the cells, and other factors affect a photovoltaic generator's output power Because of the extremely nonlinear electrical characteristic of photovoltaic cells and their relationships, the objective the control is to monitor the maximum power. Generated by the photovoltaic generator during the change irradiation and its transfer within the network while guaranteeing a high quality of the current. Fuzzy logic theory-based enhanced MPPT is suggested and used for the first stage (DC-DC Boost converter) to accomplish fast maximum power point tracking with less power oscillations. The suggested control technique is evaluated by simulating the entire systems with Matalab/Simulink. The obtained findings demonstrate that, in comparison to the conventional method (IncCond) and Slindg Mode Control (SMC), the suggested MPPT offers rapid and accurate tracking with a considerable reduction in power oscillations under radiation and temperature variations. Furthermore, The electrical energy that has been produced is injected into the network with a quality current, and the DC-link voltage is well-regulated in relation to its reference.
