Logistic 4.0 Implementation For Efficient Urban Freight Transport: A Systematic Literature Review

This article introduces Logistics 4.0 (L4.0) and explores the different technologies associated with L4.0 that have the potential to improve urban freight transport efficiency. Through this paper, we have investigated how the implementation of L4.0 is making a significant contribution on optimizing the efficiency of urban freight transport. We review the different technologies used such as machine learning, smart factories, blockchain and the Internet of Services (IoS). Thereafter, we deduced that these technologies are emerging as key drivers for ensuring UFT efficiency. Through this exploration, we identify the relevant Logistics 4.0 technologies to use for efficient urban freight transport.
