SAR two-dimensional beam scheduling method for azimuth large angle scanning

Spaceborne synthetic aperture radar achieve azimuth ultra-high resolution by scanning a large angle in the azimuth direction. Due to the influence of satellite orbit and earth curvature, beams on the ground will appear curved and offset and the shape of the belt will cause distortion when the radar beam azimuth scan angle is too large. It will bring difficulties to subsequent imaging processing at the same time. To get a continuous and straight observation band, the radar also needs to adjust the beam angle in the range direction when in the process of work. That means the two-dimensional beam scheduling at the same time. This paper analyzes the offset of the observation band of the radar in the case of azimuth large angle scanning. A two-dimensional beam scheduling method based on rotation center pushback is proposed. The effectiveness of the method is verified by simulation. The conclusions of this paper can provide reference for beam scheduling of high resolution imaging SAR.
