Implementation of Kirigami Design in Flexible Wearable Electronic by Laser Cutting for Conformability

Wearable flexible electronics have emerged as a promising technology that significantly enhances our quality of life. Among the crucial factors in the development of flexible electronics is achieving body conformability. This article presents a facile and cost-effective approach to enhance device conformability by implementing kirigami design on flexible electronics. The effectiveness of this kirigami implementation is demonstrated through the application of a thermoelectric cooler. The findings of this study showcase the potential of kirigami as a novel strategy for enhancing the conformability, flexibility, and wearability of wearable flexible electronics. This work contributes to the advancement of the field by providing a new alternative for improving the user experience and comfort of these devices.
