Blockchain-Enhanced Neural Networks for Secure IoT and 5G in Smart Cities

Significantly faster Wifi speeds, low latency, and extensive interior and outdoor coverage with Smart Cities are among anticipated benefits of 5G technology. With its smooth radio coverage and strong network backbone, it can replace current Wi-Fi and Bluetooth technologies. This development is especially important for speeding up the implementation of Internet of Things, also known as IoT, services. Although Wi-Fi 6 is currently supporting Internet of Things applications, 5G's function as a mobile ISP in Smart Cities is essential to opening up new Big Data-based applications. But 5G technology's increased device connection and wider network access also come with more cybersecurity dangers. Cyberattacks may target the common infrastructure of independent services, resulting in the creation of new digital targets. In order to tackle these issues, this paper presents a distributed ledger Random Neural Network, which combines user and channel authentication techniques for all-encompassing digital and physical cybersecurity. This novel method uses neural weights to encapsulate user input while maintaining user anonymity. In the case of a computer breach, mining may uncover the confidential identity and identify the perpetrator. By enabling decentralised user access and connection, this decentralised authentication technique improves cybersecurity resilience. The validation findings demonstrate how well the Blockchain Random Neuronal Network strengthens access restriction algorithms to highlighting the network's importance in enhancing cybersecurity in the ever-changing context of smart cities.
