Parallelized Hardware Acceleration of Automatic Differentiating Wave Digital Filters

In this paper, we propose a novel method for vectorizing Wave Digital structures using Automatic Differentiating Wave Digital Filters (ADWDFs), maintaining modularity through a backend/frontend construction approach, and enabling parallelization as well as hardware acceleration by design. As demonstrated by a proof-of-concept example, our approach achieves up to a 10 times speedup compared to a non-vectorized reference implementation.
