Cricket is one of the most popular games. It attracts a huge audience both in the stadium as well as on TV broadcasts. With growing interest among the cricket aspirants, the number of matches being played is increasing day by day. Starting from local club matches to International, there are several tournaments played across the world. But only big tournaments attract sponsors and audience, thereby limiting the technology used on the field. Large tournaments usually have multiple cameras and other advanced tech devices like DRS (Decision Review System), glowing stumps, snickometer to detect bat and ball contacts. But in smaller tournaments, where the future of the cricket team is shaped, the sophisticated technologies are currently not available for young players to improve their game and strategy. So, a low-cost solution is necessary to improve accuracy of umpire decisions in these smaller tournaments. A wearable solution is proposed to make the DRS system even simpler. A smart glass is worn by the umpire, which has inbuilt camera and image processing systems, which can record and can replay every ball which is being bowled in the heads-up monocular display. The device is controlled with the help of a hand-held joystick. The device also records numerical data like the runs per ball, total runs, number of overs bowled, etc. This trajectory will be helpful in analyzing the outcome of the ball more efficiently. This device will be helpful for the umpires in making faster and accurate decisions.
