Enhancing Spectral Efficiency: Promise of SC-NOMA with Pairing in 5G and Beyond

The capacity restriction that the other conventional orthogonal multiple access (OMA) methods encounter can be overcome by non-orthogonal multiple access (NOMA). Throughout this paper, we use a power allocation (PA) technique in multiple user single network overlay, we've seen some of the issues single carrier NOMA (SC-NOMA) faces, we illustrate all of these issues in action. We can generate a graph that illustrates the possible SC-NOMA network sum rate by changing the number of users who are multiplexed. The use of SC-NOMA has the potential to enhance connection and optimize resource usage by strategically matching users with dissimilar channel circumstances. SC-NOMA has the ability to considerably improve spectrum efficiency and meet the increasing needs of advanced wireless networks by utilizing the advantages of user pairing and non-orthogonal multiple access (NOMA) approaches. Moreover, we also utilize hybrid NOMA to support every user, combining NOMA+TDMA with four users in downlink communication. The obtained simulations indicate that when there is a variation in the channel conditions between users, NOMA performs well. A match between the near and far users result in a greater sum rate.
