Air Traffic Control Approach Based on the Intersection Points Management

Air traffic has long been a globally growing sector. The services responsible for air traffic control and regulation have had to find solutions to cope with traffic which is doubling every ten years: recruitment of additional personnel, restructuring of the airspace, technical innovations accompanied by new methods of work increasing the productivity of the controllers. These measures and innovations have made it possible to absorb ever more traffic while improving or maintaining a high level of security. Our communication is a contribution for the analysis and classification of Air Traffic Control Approaches and a proposal of our approach based on the management of intersection points.
