Signal Analysis of Resonating Wellness: Assessing the Therapeutic Effects of Singing Drums, Bowls, and Gongs Through Heart Rate Monitoring

This research examines the effects of sound therapy with singing drums, bowls, and gongs on six women's stress and well-being over 60 minutes, incorporating relaxation and meditation techniques. It measures changes in stress and emotions through self-reports and physiological indicators. Signal processing and analysis by a HRV (heart rate variability) monitor reveal improved stress resistance and vitality in most, with enhanced relaxation in others, underscoring sound therapy's rejuvenating potential and necessitating further study on its diverse impacts on mental health.
