Smart Device for Snore Detection and Respiration Rate Measurement

Sleep disorders are frequently characterized by difficulties with sleep quality, timing, and quantity, resulting in daily distress and impaired functioning. Sleep difficulties are frequently associated with medical diseases or other mental health conditions such as depression, anxiety, or cognitive disorders. Sleep apnoea is a common and potentially serious sleep disorder that affects breathing during sleep. To address this problem, a smart device for snore detection and respiration rate measurement has been implemented. The Smart device is a technology designed for people suffering from sleep disorders. The device consists of two parameters, snoring detection, and respiration rate measurement. Sensing element is used in this device to senses vibrations of snoring and respiration rate, when the snoring worsens and abnormality in respiration rate, the vibrations are generated to alert the person. This project aims to provide an effective, user–friendly, and connected solution for detecting and managing sleep disorders.
