Smart Agro Soil Analyzer for Sustainable Farming

Chemical fertilizers are crucial for increasing crop productivity and soil fertility, but their continuous use leads to a decline in soil organic matter and a reduction in agricultural soil quality. To address this issue and protect soil health, primary nutrient content in the soil, and overall soil health must be measured and analyzed. This paper presents the development of a portable, low-power consumption soil analyzing system that supports both online and offline modes for small- and large-scale farmers, combining cellular-based low-power wide area network technologies with commercially available integrated soil sensors, enabling easy deployment even in rural areas. Furthermore, the system features a web dashboard for data analysis, enhancing its usability and accessibility for farmers.
