Performance Analysis of Optical Millimeter Wave Generation in Radio over Fiber System for 5G Applications

In this work, we have proposed improved optical millimeter wave generation and a 20 Gb/s radio over fiber transmission using dual parallel Machzehnder modulators (DP-MZM) with thirty-six tupling 180 GHz millimeter-wave of 180 GHz generation by RF signal at 5 GHz. The identification of optically sideband suppressing ratios (OSSR) above 36 dB and radio frequencies spurious sideband suppressing ratios (RFSSRs) beyond 39 dB is made in 40 km radio over fibers (RoF) lines at an error rate for bits of 10
