Design and Building of Lora Based Communication Board for Educational Nanosatellite

This paper explores the integration of Long-Range (LoRa) communication technology into the Educational SATellite (ESAT) platform. Focused on advancing space education, the research introduces a LoRa-based communication board, enhancing the capabilities of the ESAT CubeSat kit. This addition empowers educational nanosatellites with long-range, low-power communication, aligning with the evolving CubeSat and IoT landscape. The ESAT kit's modular structure serves as a foundational tool for hands-on learning, making it an indispensable asset in the educational realm. The proposed LoRa technology augmentation opens new avenues for students to delve into remote sensing, collaborative data sharing, and environmental monitoring.
