Infrared Acoustic Fusion Detection Method for Partial Discharge of Power Cables

As the main force of urban power supply, transportation, and distribution, power cables in urban power transmission and distribution occupy an increasingly important role, relatively, power cables are widely used at the same time, and a variety of faults also occur frequently, infrared temperature measurement technology is widely used in conventional power cable detection. Numerous onsite tests have revealed that in certain cases, the efficacy of infrared detection for identifying faults is not satisfactory. There is a blind spot; in this case, we employ another detection method to compensate for the absence of a single detection. In this research, we use acoustic pattern detection technology to fill the blind area in infrared detection, and we use a joint diagnostic detection approach to solve several problems in field detection.
