Reversible Hiding in Encrypted Domain Based on Threshold-Changeable Secret Image Sharing

To solve the problem that current reversible data hiding in encrypted domain (RDH-ED) cannot be applied to the distributed variable security environment, an RDH-ED scheme based on improved threshold-changeable secret image sharing (ITCSIS) is proposed. Firstly, the threshold-changeable secret image sharing (TCSIS) is improved by image scrambling and random hiding keys to make better security. Then, the extra data is embedded into the binary polynomial coefficient redundancy generated in the encryption process of ITCSIS, which improves the embedding performance and security. The experimental results show that the proposed scheme is completely reversible, and obtains a better security and embedding rate. Besides, it's suitable for distributed scenarios with complex and variable security environments.
