Multi Slot Wearable Patch Antenna for Wireless Applications

This paper presents a Wearable Rectangular Patch Antenna (WRAP) for
$6.1\text{GHz}$
wireless communications applications. The cotton is employed as substrate to be easily integrated with wearable clothes like baggage, dress, belt hand strips etc. The antenna is Compact in size with a dimensions of
$32{\text{\ mm\ }} \times \ 42{\text{\ mm}}$
slotted rectangular geometry. The designed antenna has an operating frequency of
$6.1\text{GHz}$
. The antenna has gain of
$6.7\text{dBi}$
and
$0.3\text{GHz}$
bandwidth with good radiation pattern. The designed antenna has medical, IoT and 5G applications.
