Study of False Alarm Using Sliding Window for Pulse Detection Radar System

Efficient spectrum sensing is essential to modern radar systems in order to maximize the utilization of available frequency bands, guarantee interference abatement, and improve overall system performance. In this paper, we will be discussing a new technique for detecting signal frequencies in radar bands using a sliding window method. The suggested approach seeks to detect and identify any interference or signal anomalies in a dynamic radar environment by taking advantage of the intrinsic time-frequency features of radar signals. By dividing the received radar signal into overlapping parts, the sliding window approach makes it possible to continuously monitor the spectral content. Different signal processing and detection methods can be used inside each window to determine whether signals of interest, like radar targets or possible sources of interference, are present. This method's main advantages are its flexibility in responding to shifting signal conditions, its real-time monitoring capabilities, and its capacity to discriminate between main radar signals and other interfering signals. It also offers an analysis tool for the radar environment's spectral and temporal properties. Experiments and simulation results are used to illustrate the concept and show how well it works for identifying and describing signals in radar bands. Additionally, this sliding window-based spectrum sensing technique is adaptable and can be used with a range of radar systems, which enhances radar spectrum management and guarantees the dependability and resilience of radar operations.
