Modeling, Simulation, Time Response and Stability Analysis of Fuel Cell Based DC-DC Converter for EV Applications

The paper presents the work carried out in Hydrogen fuel cell to sources the stabilized voltage. The work involves modeling the fuel cell, conventional boost converter, SEPIC converter and interleaved converter. A comparative analysis is made for the above three converters for different load changes. system involves Hydrogen Fuel Cell, DC-DC converter, and load. The simulation is carried out with Hydrogen fuel cell as source and the output voltage response is stabilized for different load conditions. It also includes the time response behavior and stability analysis of three converter topologies. The most suitable converter topology is identified from results for the Electric Vehicle (EV) application.
