Developing a Secure and Multilingual Chat App with Real-Time Translation

In the era of digital communication there are huge number of chatting applications to communicate with peoples globally. Generally, people make chat group and form community for their work and efficiency. The peoples of different geographical and linguistic background get interconnected. For talking within the group user at least required a skill of Hindi or English language. The paper delves into the development of chat application Linguolock using ML-Kit and Firebase with the objectives of security, multilingual communication, real time translation and OTP base sign-in. The app is specifically built for Android OS due to higher number of people in India use smartphone powered by Android. This app majorly supports six languages translation Hindi, Marathi, Bengali, Punjabi, Tamil and Telugu. As per ensuring the privacy and security concerns of users chat message AES-GCM technique implemented within the app for encrypting the message. Using this system the user communicates effectively in different languages and the conversation messages are stored securely.
