Design and Development of Bricks Making from Waste Plastic Bags

Plastic is being used more and more in our daily lives, which has caused the production of plastic goods to rise globally. Polyethylene is a readily available polymer that is used to make plastic bags. Human activity generates about 350 million tons of plastic waste annually. The majority of plastic bags wind up in landfills, where they take about 300 years to decompose since they are expensive and difficult to recycle. When animals inadvertently consume them, they decompose into minute particles that contaminate the land, waterways, and food chains. Plastic bags originate as fossil fuels and wind up in the seas and landfills as toxic trash. Plastic bags raise the risk of stroke and cardiovascular illness as well as obesity, diabetes, and infertility. According to statistics, plastic garbage alone causes the deaths of about 100 million marine species annually.Our proposed solution focuses on polyethylene covers of lower thickness in microns are collected and treated as raw material. After several basic processes like crushing, heating and cooling processes are done with the help of Programmable Logic Controllers(PLC). It provides an alternative to conventional concrete bricks by using the waste plastic bags and assure environmental friendliness.
