Voltage Control Embedded Resilient Distribution System Restoration Considering Uncertainties

The voltage issue in fault scenarios is more challenging than that in normal operation for distribution system (DS) with high renewable energy penetration. Nevertheless, most existing studies focused on increasing the restored loads using reconfiguration and dispatching of distributed generations, where the voltage security issue during the distribution system restoration (DSR) process has not received sufficient attention. Moreover, the strong uncertainty of high penetration of distributed photovoltaics (PVs) should be actively responded to improve the applicability of restoration scheme in response to unforeseen changes. To this end, this paper proposes a voltage control embedded DSR scheme, aiming to minimize de-energized loads and ensure real-time voltage security. In this scheme, DSR models are formulated coordinating the dynamic topology changes, SOPs control, primary voltage regulation devices and PV inverters at different timescales to against multiple uncertainties with pre-scheduling and real-time corrective scheduling stages. During the service restoration (SR) progress, the real-time voltage security can be ensured with three active measures, i.e., violation probability aversion, predictive adjustment and real-time Volt/Var control. Numerical simulations on modified IEEE 33-node and 123-node test systems verify the effectiveness of the proposed scheme.
