Design and Simulation of a Tiny Bandpass Filter Utilizing Planar Technology for 5G Mid-Band Applications

The microwave bandpass filter is a critical component in any communication chain; it acts as a bridge between the antenna and the transmitting or receiving unit. Current microwave bandpass filters must meet a number of requirements, including good electrical performance, small size, compactness, and low cost. This paper proposes a miniature microwave bandpass filter utilizing planar technology. The proposed structure is built on the top face of a low-price FR4 substrate.
