Temperature compensated quad analog switch

Describes the circuit design and the characteristic performance of a quad analog switch. The striking features of this product are the stability of the ON-resistance with variations in temperature, the protection against overvoltages and loss of power, and the high-speed switching operation. The temperature coefficient of the nominal switch resistance is 250 ppm//spl deg/C, and in the worst case spread over the full military temperature range. Analog signals of /spl plusmn/35 V in amplitude may be applied at the input without causing any permanent damage to the device, even when the supply voltages fail. The typical switch turns ON in 250 ns and turns OFF in 200 ns, ensuring break-before-make action. The circuit is integrated using a well-controlled bipolar/ion implanted JFET process.
